Department Goals

Electric Department’s goals are:

1. Assure availability and reliability of electricity to all our residents and businesses;
2. Provide safe electric generation and distribution through the implementation of an engineered plan;
3. Maintain cost effective service for all of our customers;
4. Ensure compliance with the EPA and all State and Federal regulations;
5. Provide information and education to state and federal officials and legislators, and K-12 systems using ongoing communications and public relations.
